dunno about all the digital mics allan. the fender twins put out some real nice warm tones, like the mesa boogies. if you have a mixer, i'd hang some akg d-112's, a couple shure 58 and 57's to get the full range from amps. the shure beta series are a real hot mic compared to the standard 58 and 57's.
