I have 2 responses to your questions. 1- During my working years my paycheck would be mailed Wednesday afternoon, at main post office in a major city. It would arrive at my home, approx 15 miles away, the next Tuesday. Never found out reason for delay, but switched to direct deposit as soon as it was offered. 2- Junk mail such as store advertising flyers only gets delivered by the mail carrier. It travels from the printer to local post office by truck hired by the printer, with plenty of lead time to be delivered on a certain date. Eg: on one trip I picked up at printer in Reno Nv, made drops at 28 post offices, final drop was Jacksonville Fl. Willie

If your tractor is going to be stored for any length of time, a few precautionary measures are helpful in preserving various parts, also in avoiding future difficulty. Store tractor under cover. If impossible to place tractor under cover, be sure to cover air stack and exhaust pipe. Drain radiator and engine block. To avoid gum content collections, drain both fuel tanks and carburetor. Leave radiator and fuel caps slightly loose to protect gaskets. Block tractor up to remove weight from tires and to keep tires from contact with moist floor.
