I was following about 200 yds behind a semi the other day and heard a "bang". Truck looked fine, but couldn't see anything around that would have made that sound. Half a mile later the dust flew and bits of tire flew everywhere.....truck pulled over making so much dust we all had to slow down to about 30 in order to see where we were going. Reminded me of a story a tanker driver told me once about a blowout he had with a car next to him. They both stopped and when she got out of the car she had wet her pants...said he felt bad for her. After hearing the boom the other day I can see how that might happen...
