I've never seen augers used to move sawdust. Wood shop dust collection systems move it with blowers. I think sawdust would be too fine and compactable to move well through an auger. Also, an auger is one piece of equipment I would rather not have around if I didn't need one; I personally know of a couple of cases of kids getting arms pulled into augers.
