Well I AM a well seasoned I H wrench and i do not think it was a bad idea and i have always felt it was a super idea . And when done correctly they last and trust me if my buddy Eugene has not taken the one out of his 1066 that i sold him and I installed a new one when he bought it 12 years ago and even the first T/A i put in when i first opened my shop doors back in 83 is still going strong on a 1066 that is used on a dairy farm they can not be that bad , the ones that fail are not installed correctly and or not kept in adjustment and that is the biggie keeping the adjustment up . Myself i have always installed Hy Capacity T/A's and have never had one fail.
