Larry, I hate to try to diagnose a problem such as yours without actually being there. I would clean up all those terminals and try it again. Clean the terminals at your starter solenoid. Check your ground where it bolts on to your tractor and the battery. Eliminate the terminals and then get back to the board. Now, for your post up above, I fear that you might have a blown head gasket. When you do get your tractor running again, take the radiator cap off and see if you are getting water blowing out the filler hole. This is usually an indication of a blown gasket. If you take your head off, it is a good idea to get the head checked to make sure that it is not cracked.(I just had this done. They did a valve job also and shaved my head a little. Charged me $200.) Hope this helps a little. G'Luck.
