At the dental office my wife works at, the person with the most recent birthday brings treats for the next one. Everybody's birthday is on a list in the break room. Wife is lucky- best baker in the bunch is her birthday supplier every year, and wife gets to bring home the excess.
Wouldn't work with a large, or high turnover place- but this dentist is such a sweetheart that everybody has been there about 25 years (my wife about 30), and will have to be dragged out feet first to get rid of them.
