Have about 20 ft of barn roof (eave that gets sun from 12 - dark in summer and it is real convenient to reach because I have a landscape wall just under it. Think I'll try something then. nothing to loose. Just hang the bucket from the bail? I've got a few 5 gallon buckets but hate to give them up. Would 2 gallon buckets be OK? Also, I have an endless supply of composted horse manure, can I use it straight for dirt?
