I got a 03 with the 4.9 thats a PIA to change. Got to get it up, turn the wheels to the right and bend your arm and wrist about 3 ways from Sunday. I use the Frams with the grit on the end and use a leather glove. I'm lucky to still have some grip in my right hand. Got a drawer full of filter wrenches that don't come close to working.
Do not use a wrench to put them on with, hand tight only and always put some fresh oil on the rubber gasket before instalation.
