Since it"s your left one, you"re welcome to use or adapt this hand clutch idea I came up with 10 years ago when I broke my ankle. Cost about $5 to make each one for three field tractors. Does not interfere with able-bodied drivers, attached firmly with four bolts. The way I built it, it transfers all force to the pedal, and does not come loose. It"s also in the AgrAbility files through midwest Land-Grant universities, along with other ideas for the handicapped.
