I had to replace a toilet shut off valve Saturday morning at the farm, took 2 hrs. because the plumber used a compression tee and didn't extend the pipe out of the wall by one more inch, when I tightened up on the valve the compression fitting behind the valve turned causing a drip. The town where my farm is located has one real hardware store(the Walmart doesn't count) and two parts stores that carry tractor parts, they all close at noon on Saturdays. If you need a plumbing part or a tractor/impement part on a Saturday afternoon you are screwed. I will be spending my spring break time fixing that problemplus replacing the kitchen sink/faucet. Looks like a fun week. :roll:
