I went out to spread manure Sunday. Pulled the tractor and spreader out of the barn, then figured since it was out of the way, its a good time to get the little Allmand backhoe out, as neighbor wanted to borrow it to get two little stumps out. Started it up, took it by the shop and checked fluids and fuel, and found a bolt and nut to re-secure the throttle mounting plate. Tightened up some more bolts and screws while I was at it. Then took it to the neighbors- he didn't seem to be around, so decided to just grub out the stumps myself. Just as I was finishing, he comes out with a plate of eggs, sausage and toast- we went in and had breakfast (my second of the day)- then went home, wife informed me that we were meeting the kids and grandkids at the restaurant in town. And so on.
Manure is still waiting.
Your 30 minute project took all day. My 15 minute one is 2 days and counting.
