My wife will never understand how, when I come home from a long day, all I want to do is sit in my recliner and read the paper in peace and quiet instead of discussing the whole day in detail.
She's also never figured out why, when I'm wrapped up on my computer in my office doing a report on a house I've inspected, I don't want to drop everything and talk about painting the bathroom.
