852 and an 850 are to different animals. Now I do not know the 852 but I do have a junk 851 here and it makes a smaller bale so I'll guess an 852 would also. Now as per the manual an 850 will make a bale that is 900-1500 but if you slow down and have a good stand of hay you can make them real heavy. The first year I used my 850 behind my Oliver Super 88 I didn't know that I needed to use 3rd gear and I used first and it was all I could do to get a bale spike in one and my Ford 841 with loader could not pick one up and I had to use the cat 950 to move my bales
