I tried several different ones on a old hayrake to remove the nuts that hold the bearings in the spiders. NONE of them actually penetrated very far into the threads, even after several day"s soaking, several applications. Fortunately the nuts all came off with repeated application of a impact wrench, but inside all the threads were dry. None penetrated well. WD40 and PB blaster were among the ones I used.
