Adding methanol would be the same as adding antifreeze except methanol is cheaper. The blue color had to be an additive. There have been some discussions about antifreeze vs calcium chloride with the difference being calcium chloride adds a lot more weight per volume of water. I guess it boils down to how much weight you need. I think no one adds liquid to front tires as the loader you mention will add plenty of weight to the front by itself.
