1966 Ford 2000 (Gas) Power Steering Leak

I have a 1966 Ford 2000, Model number 21022A, Production number 6F9B, which has started leaking power steering fluid out of the top of the steering column. My guess is that a seal in the column has blown. Is the steering column removable without disassembling the entire steering gear assembly? Or maybe I am all wet (with power steering fluid)...maybe the trouble is elsewhere. Can anyone help me??
