If you're over 25 years old and not a total sot, don't even consider infield tickets. The Rose Garden tickets will be crowded and fun, but a different (Older more sedate) kind of fun. Oaks is when most of us locals go for Derby week. Accomodations will also be dificult to obtain this late in the year. I always enjoy chuckwagon, an on street party with lots of food in the evenings.
