I agree Al. Most of us buy the lowest priced fuel we know of. Alternative fuels cost considerably more than gasoline, and until all of us are willing to pay the price- alternative fuels will not catch on. How many would cross the street to buy alt. fuel @$3gal, when petro.fuel is $1.45? It's not the (sic) government killing alt. fuels, it's we the people. Your comment on improved technology is right. My Dodge diesel HD 3/4T gets 22mpg, unheard of fuel mileage for such a truck 30yrs ago.
