I honed the cylider which removed the grooves in the damaged cylinder. I was surprised how little effort it took. This will be a chore/ offroad fun farm truck.Gotta check ring gap tommorrow to make sure we are still in spec. I used the type of hone with three stones, as opposed to the ball type. How do you make the 45 degree cross hatch patern they suggest? Mine looks ok but not not like Ive seen come from a machine shop.
