I was once made a gift of a Model A Ford truck. Attempting to get it running, had everything set, upended a five gallon bucket of water down the radiator inlet. I was balanced on the front bumper, suddenly brown field mice start coming out, up around the water, over the bucket and up my arms. About a dozen, but at the time seemed closer to 50, my mom and sister were almost on the ground laughing so hard. The cap had been on, they had chewed into the upper hose, I ended up flushing at least twenty pounds of old seat stuffing and mouse leavings. Later I removed the water pump, cleaned some more out of the head and block. Had it running since, and I keep a close watch for mice! John Ne.
