If we are treating 100 people 'over there' then health care costs are far too high, and we need to cut costs.
If we are treating my family member or yours, then no expense is too much to give some quality of life.
Insurance comanies, politicians, and doctors will want their cut of the pie.
Out of that, nothing sensable or worthwhile can come.
Anything that gets passed will be worse in the long run, cost more in the long run, and be run by politicians or bean counters, not anyone who cares about 'health'.
What we have is a setup where people who work get health care as a benifit, mostly.
Those who don't get health care from the govt when needed.
A lot of folk fall through the cracks, like self-employed.
But, what we have works better than what the politicians can dream up to serve themselves.
Could us a little minor tweeking to what we have, but I really don't trust any of the folks in DC to figure out 'minor teeking', so keep what we have & leave it alone.
Anymore on anything, just leave things alone. DC only messes things up & puts more people on welfare.
