You will get a lot of various opinions, I am of the belief one should buy a heavierduty garden tractor. Go with the Deere, Cub Cadet or other brand like that. I am not going to push the brand that I prefer, we dont need a brand war here. I would buy based upon the closest dealer that I trust. With the Deere or Cadet, The parts and service availability is great and you are making an investment in something that you can own for a long time. Not to pick on the Wal-mart or TSC tractors. But my experience is, they do a good job the first few years, but eventually they become a throw-away lawn mower.
