No, but I did have a CPA that had a mental breakdown. Turned all my stuff over to him, he was supposed to get back to me the next day to sign the return. Never called. I figured he would get it done pretty soon, this was in Febuary. April 15, no return, calls to his office not returned. Finally, about a week late, a package was left at my door in the middle of the night. I turned everthing in, no fines, as I had money coming back. Several years later, a bum came up to me while I was gassing up my car. He called me by name, and that freaked me out!! He was dressed in odd clothes, and lacked a LOT in personal hygiene. It was the CPA! He aplogised, and explained that he had gotten a divorce, and had some personal problems. I gave him $5 for gas, he was living outta his car. Pretty dramatic fall for a guy that was a CPA, had a MBA from UM, and was going to law school. Bad luck, a bad decision, or ?? and anyone could end up like that.
