During the time I was a mechanic I saw people do all kinds of things I could never get away with, like not changing their worn out cam belt, never checking the water in their radiator, not adjusting their valves, driving around with balls of corrosion on their battery cable ends, never checking the air in their tires, etc, etc. I decided there must be a law of the universe that protects those who don't realize they should and should not be doing something. Based on that theory you should forget you ever read this post and keep doing what works for you. In any case, thanks for the info...Al English
