They say when building a pole building to build as wide as you can afford. For instance, if you plan on 24x36, use the 36 ft. trusses. It may cost a little more at first, but this way you can always add on. I started with a 36x36, and later added another 24 ft to the length. I also added lean-to's to both sides. Also go with the 14 ft eaves. This will allow you to use 12 ft doors, and give you plenty of height for adding lean-to's.
