I will still stick with what I said before.It has been a law for over 50 yrs.(before that it was more varied)that ANY trailer grossing over 1500# or some states 3000#were to have brakes on all wheels.Just because some fly by night back yard builder didn't doesn't make it right.Been a lot of trailers taken off the road and dealers fined for selling those trailers.One other thing,your post on riding in a fifth wheel camper,you had better check the law,only about a third of the states allow it and some of them put restrictions on it.
