Dave- I think what you are missing is that in the U.S.A. (at least for now) we can have what we WANT without having to explain it to anybody. It's called freedom. There are those that want to take choices like that away from us, and are getting pretty sucessful at it, but for now, free choice is still possible. I have an F350 that I regularly tow 25-30,000 lbs most summer weekends (should be using something bigger), but I also enjoy driving it more than my car. It gets over 20 mpg and is the most comfortable vehicle I have owned. I drive it because I want to.
