Yo Rich, a good question, here are my thoughts with all due respect: Hey you asked lol

Whatever "answers" (specific and exactly what you were looking for) or "non answers" (in your opinion) posted here sort of COME WITH THE TERRITORY. If a person DOES NOT WANT SUCH (i.e. they ONLY want the exact answer they were looking for) THEY BEST NOT POST A QUESTION I RECKON.

I look at it as a fun place to offer help and suggestions and maybe help a fellow tractor over and enjoy a lil BS along the way BUTTTTTTT if we try to regulate or silence responses I think it would have a chilling effect and harm the fun and spirit of the site. Sometimes my answers may not have been EXACTLY to the posters wishes and I bet some of your answers havent either but I dont think its good for our community to nay say or regulate or criticize what a person may have intended in all good faith. I guess if we put in our question that we wish ONLY certain info in response and NOT anythign else it could work but that will silence some of the fun here and if a guy was that picky my responce would be GO PAY FOR THE ANSWER IF YOU DONT LIKE WHATS HERE FOR FREE

Take care n God Bless Rich, hope to stop by your place sometime in my travels

John T

Today's Featured Article - Picking Corn - by Rick Nikolich. It was the day before Christmas shutdown at work and I asked our lead engineering expert Scott Andrzejewski what he was going to do over the holidays. He said that he had some corn that he still needed to pick with an antique one-row New Idea corn picker. Scott has a nice farm about an hour north of Lansing in St. Johns, MI. He wanted to get the rest of his corn in by the next day (Christmas Eve). We had about an inch of new snow on the ground and single digit temperatures. So in the bac ... [Read Article]
