I haven't found anything neat in my field but was going through ClearLake Iowa in Sept on my way to the Mayo clinic. I always wanted to go there since in a corn field in Feb 1959 a plane crashed having on it was Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper along with the piolt. If you walk along a fence line you will see a small guitar shaped monument that someone has made to mark the exact place of the plane crash. You cannot see it from the road. You walk through the owners planted field and eventually see a small area that he went around when planting. the owner allows everyone who would like to on his property as long as you respect his property and crop.
