Bryan, what is does is like there is no real control of the throttle. When it starts every thing is normal, then it goes to H3ll-in-a-handbasket, just barely touch the accelerator peddle and the RPMs shoot to 3000, get off the accelerator an it will go to idle, then touch it again the RPM shoot to 2200, back to a reasonable RPM, then bury the throttle as if to pass a car on the highway at 70 MPH it will respond correctly, then you are running 85MPH at nearly 3000RPMs get off the throttle, return back to idle as you are slowing down. All this takes place in a 2 mile are so streach of highway, the engine will violently go back and forth from idle to what ever RPM all the while I am just barely touching the throttle except for the burying the throttle to pass example. Then all of a sudden it is just as normal as can be! I was coming home tonight and it did it again. So I am thinking it may be the Throttle position sensor Any Ideas? Later, John A.
