Just a note, an 86 or later SB 305 would have center bolt valve covers. The CCC quadrajets are no harder to rebuild then the older non CCC ones. You just need a scan tool to adjust the TPS and mixture solenoid. I have always liked Quadrajets, they flow alot of air, good drivablity, are simple to rebuild and are relatively trouble free compared to Holly or Motorcraft.
