I'm not getting it, if the sleeve was crack why not replace the sleeve with either a new one or used one which can be bought from either Case/IH or a number of other places. Shoot for another $200 a complete new set of firecraters can be bought which includes the sleeves, rings & rod bearings, why mess with a patch. When I rebuild/restore a engine I put in new for my own peace of mind, a year or two later you may be replacing what you patched again. Only me two cents :o)
