I wonder how it works with the John Deere "Certified Relife Program" is it's still going on. Deere was buying back small crawlers - 350Cs and 450CS - rebuilding them, putting on new serial numbers and then selling them back to customers. Nissan was also doing it for awhile with 240Z sports cars. I wonder if, by a factory rebuilding in such a way, but not changing the actual model year - exempts them from regs?
