Everything TractorVet said is right-on, for a minimum of required equipment. I had to split many tractors on-site, when I was a on-the-road mechanic for Deere. Even had to split a few 4020s on dirt, in the barnyard, which isn't the best place to do one (jack on a plywood sheet).
275 is a pretty heavy tractor. If you do it yourself, doublecheck the front axle pivot is well locked with wood wedges/shims. Make two guide studs to put in place of engine-to-trans bolts (just cut the heads off some long bolts). They will help a lot with pulling apart and putting back together.
When times come to draw the two halves back into one, a come-along on each side works nicely for a slow steady joining. Just don't force anything - especially the input shafts into clutches.
