Hi Mike, I've seen some rusty cylinders freed up that I would have bet were going to cause low power and oil burning. Amazingly that doesn't always happen. As the previous post pointed out, your bores probably aren't all that rusty. That being the case I would get it running, use it a little, and see what you've got. At the very least you're closer to a rebuild now than you were before this happened. After running it a while if it runs ok, has decent compression, and doesn't smoke, I would do nothing more than change the oil and be more careful next time. Good luck...Al English
