Haven't seen the movie, or read any books about Charlie, but holding him up as single-handedly starting a war is hilarious... Charlie was undoubtedly the front/point man, but there had to be a lot of people--a LOT--in powerful positions in Gov't AND the military that were only too happy to gleefully go along for their own reasons (and now try to give poor Charlie all the blame)...
