Oldfarmer, excellent observations. I like the way that you push politics aside and look at the situations for yourself using common sense. One point that I made earlier on here is that if you understand how a heat pump can cool in one direction, and produce heat in the opposite direction, it is simple to see how a warmer global climate can actually produce the moisture and cold temps needed for the record snows that we have gotten. Besides, keeping records about what this old Earth's weather does is fun, but it means nothing. She is going to do what she does when she does it. (maybe that is they we use a female context?LOL) By the way, after years of little snow fall in Upstate South Carolina, we had a record breaking 12 inches of snow back in 1987. Too bad we did not know the terms "Global Warming" and all of that so we could pin it all one one person.
