Doug, Sounds like you are in a similar boat as I was a few months ago. I wanted a tractor for brush hogging and snow removal. My father-in-law bought a farmall 200, and I fell in love with tractors. Since I was going to need one I instantly went out looking for a Farmall. I ended up coming across a Allis Wd. I purchased it for $1750. I thought a little high, but it was painted nice and very mechanically sound, needing no work. Two months later I purchased a loader for $1000. So far my total investment has been $2750, and I can say this has been one of my best purchases. I have not had any problem whatsoever as far as snow. I used my father-in-laws 5' Bushhog, and it was nothin for the tractor. I am sure a 45 would make you very happy. As far as the others I do not have an educated opinion to give you.
