40 years ago a man had a furniture factory and he blew his sawdust into a boiler. The flame looked like a blow tourch. It burned so hot and clean that you couldn"t see any smoke or smell anything. He dried his wood and heated his factory with sawdust. When he ran short on sawdust, he chipped his scrap wood and made more. I guess you could say he was Carbon Neutral before the term was invented. You can burn anything if you get it hot enough and have enough oxygen. I"ve heard that ground up tires burn 4 times cleaner than coal, when properly burned. Ground tires are used in making portland cement.

For several years I had been driving by a farm house on the west side of Indianapolis that had a John Deere combine parked in high weeds in a lot behind the house.
