Yea them things are pesky. Had one on my front porch a couple years ago. Getting in the cat food every night. Covered it with a 5 gallon bucket. Knocked it off and had his fill anyway. Decided to shoot him but opening the door made too much racket. Finally left the window up one night and the porch light on. When I heard the coon I eased to the window with my 22. got down on one knee, took aim and fired right through the screen. Left a small hole that the wife put a small piece of cotton in so as to keep the nats out, but I got the bugger. Lucky shot. By the way the cat was sitting on the other end of the porch watching all this. I suppose he was wondering if he wanted to go back to his own feeder.
