I paid $1200.00 for a nice late model BCS tiller several years ago, don't have the model number memorized but it has a 10 hp Atlas engine, they have a higher tine speed than Troybilt and are all automotive type clutch, transmission and differential, they are #1 with all professional landscapers and such. The tiller I purchased was barely used and I was given the original purchase receipts which were about $2400.00. They are built in Italy, even the Atlas engine is made in Italy ( I never heard of an Atlas engine until then) which was an option that cost more than a Briggs or Kohler which were standard equipment. I till garden for hire in the spring and the BCS is a workhorse.
