My shop is 30X40 with 15' ceiling. A 156 btu hanging heater easily keeps it at 65 to 70 on the floor. Walls have 6" insulation and the ceiling is 24". Of course heat rises so the balcony is a bit warmer then the floor. The thermostat is located about 1/2 way up the wall.
