Robert, is it still wiping a normal pattern and just parking in the middle of the window, or is it wiping one half and reaching off the edge of the glass? If it's not wiping a normal pattern, I would think the linkage has bent or overcentered. If it's wiping normal and parking in an odd place, I'd think it would be slippage on the motor shaft or the park switch in the motor, assuming the motors still operate that way. If everything else is OK, can you pull the wiper arms and reset them so it will park properly?
My uncle had a motor home and the wiper linkage would overcenter and act real stupid. Was easy to fix after we figured out what to pull on.
