Exactly! You're just smart enough to go buy a good used farm tractor and add a mower deck to it. Imagine a half crazed yuppie who works too hard earning more money than he knows how to spend, with an equally minded wife. Now put a shiney new (refurbished) real farm looking tractor that's all set up for mowing their 1.2 acres of grass and you have the receipe for that $5,000 AC-B with a belly mower. Original tractor - - - $500
Restoration & upgrades $800

Mower deck - - - - - $1250

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
