Imagine , if you will, two suburbanites living on the very outskirts of some city, with four acre lots. One has a brand new $8995 Name Brand Garden tractor sitting in front of his house and the other one has a meticulously restored 1940 Allis Chalmers B or a 1941 Farmall A or a 1948 John Deere M or a 1939 Ford 9N sitting out in front of his house. Which one is going to get more neighbors to come around and ooh and aahh? Which owner is going to have more fun taking his tractor to tractor club shows? Which one will just mow his grass with his tractor? Which one will buy a new replacement tractor in a few years cause his old one isn't shiny enough anymore and which tractor will be just as much fun as the day it was purchased? I ask a lot of questions don't I? Anyway, the demand for these useful little old tractors, especially restored ones makes them look pretty good next to something that has a Briggs and Stratton engine in it. My opinion anyway!
