I think it would be a shot in the arm for this country for the government to get out of the way and let us develope our own resources. The new drilling techniques are proven safe. When they had those hurricans in the gulf, and the oil rigs tore lose from their mounts, no oil was spilled. The rigs were towed back and reconnected and put back into business. You would not be able to see a oil rig 15 miles off the coast. Get the government out of the way, turn the private sector loose. Alot of jobs would be created. Plus with more oil coming to market, it would definently help stabilize the price. Would the price continue to be manipulated? Who knows, the way things are being run now, probably. Jack
