"Turning the key off" sounds pretty simple.
HOWEVER, the way it sounds some of the affected cars don't have conventional ignition switches and you have to depress some button/switch/gizmo thing on the dash for 3 or 5 seconds to shut off the engine, apparently much like clicking the "Start" button on MightGoSoft Windows to begin the process of shutting down a 'puter.
Can you IMAGINE that, having to hold a button depressed, basically saying "Dear Puter, MAY I choose to shut of the engine"?
