I'll try Arcadia, but I'm not familiar with the MF 35. I think you need to pull the right lever ( draft) all the way back. Then use the left lever (position) to raise and lower the lift. There should be an adjustable stop, probably a thumb-screw or wing-nut or some such, that you use to set the lower position so that the bush-hog doesn't go to low. You adjust the length of the top link of the 3-point hitch to set the attitude of the bush-hog ( I think the front should be slightly lower than the rear for good cutting ) Maybe this will help you until some of these good Massey owner's can get here to tell you the straight skinny on it.
