Ken, you are right. Restoring a family tractor is not about making money, it is about remembering something of the past.Every tractor I have restored and painted I still own, in fact, we still have the 2 dr.htp I bought in 1975(6 yr. car then), used it as our wedding car in 1984, its kind of become a fixture.Like someone said a few months back, take your tractor resto costs, cut them in half and you will be in the selling market.Its not about making $, its about what you do with your time after working at a job making $. Plus some of the straightest shootin' folks you will ever find are the ones at a country fair tractor show.At least thats the way I see it.
